Stone Age Engage Day
As part of our next topic ‘Who were the first people?’, Year 3 are hosting a day to explore the Stone Age, Iron Age and Bronze Age on Friday 3rd November 2023. The children will be participating in different activities to further their understanding and immerse themselves in what life was like for the early humans.
The day is designed for children to step back into the Stone Age, Iron Age and Bronze Age . To allow children to really get into character, they are invited to come into school dressed in Stone Age, Iron Age and Bronze Age inspired clothing, however this is not compulsory. Ideas for costumes are:
· Animal print clothing.
· A caveman/cavewoman.
· A long white t-shirt/bed sheet with fur material.
This day will be full of fun activities such as cave painting, loom basket weaving and caveman/cavewoman jewellery making. If you have any questions about this day, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher.
