At Fairfields Primary School we are delighted to be able to offer children a wide, varied and nutritious menu, which will change on a termly basis to ensure that we continue to offer a variety of choices.
Introduction from Stir Foods
Stir Food is passionate about creating fresh, high-quality, home-cooked meals that children love. Their menus are carefully designed with input from pupils and are regularly updated to keep meals exciting and varied.
They believe that school meals should be:
- Nutritious and balanced
- Full of flavour
- Enjoyable and social
Their goal is to make lunchtime a positive and memorable part of the school day.
Ordering with SwiftKitchen
Parents can use SwiftKitchen, an online system to:
- Order meals in advance
- Make secure payments
- Track what their child is eating
- Manage dietary requirements easily
All children in Key Stage 1 (Reception, Year 1, and Year 2) are entitled to a free lunch under the Universal Infant Free School Meal Programme.
Children in Key Stage 2 (Year 3,4,5 and 6) will need to top up funds in their Pantry account, to place an order at the cost of £2.75 per meal.

- Keeping popular favourites on the menu
- Hosting theme days featuring cuisines from around the world (e.g. Italy, India, Mexico, Japan)
Children will also have the option to pick between the pudding option of the day or fresh fruit. We are committed to encouraging pupils to make healthy choices for their lunch, all pupils have unlimited access to our delicious salad bar.
