Year 1 had a wonderful time exploring Woburn Safari Park. The children had a guided tour of the road safari by one of the parks specialists and a educational session too. The children enjoyed the bird show and the sea lion feed. As always the children were fantastic and we proud ambassadors of our school.

In Autumn term the School Council decided they wanted to make people happy over Christmas. The children came up with many ideas but settled on the idea of visiting an elderly community centre. The School council visited the Age UK centre and were delighted with their experience. The children shared stories, played board games and delivered hand made cards to the members. The members were incredibly grateful and commented on how much this experience meant to them. Miss Yee and Miss Gibbs would like to congratulate the children who were all were fantastically mannered, brave and were true ambassadors of our school.

Year 5 were very lucky to have been visited by a member of The Safety Centre, who led a knife awareness workshop that was tailored to Year 5 curriculum. Children talked about the choices and consequences of carrying a weapon and ended the session with their own anti knife slogan, that will be hung on the Knife Angel Statue outside of the MK Dons stadium. All children took the anti-violence pledge and went home as Anti-Violence Ambassadors.

The Knife Angel will be outside of MK Dons stadium until the end of December.
