Year 1 Victorian Day

After the October break, Year 1 will be learning all about the Victorians as part of our topic
titled ‘Which Queen is supreme?’ To celebrate this topic, we are very excited to hold a
Victorian themed day at school on Wednesday 13th November.
On the day, the children will explore artefacts from Victorian schools, homes and toys from
the past. We will also be making some bread, linking to our DT work, which we will enjoy
eating on the day.
For the themed day, we ask that your child comes to school dressed as a person from
Victorian times. This could be a child from the Victorian era (some examples are: a cook,
chimney sweeper or perhaps Queen Victoria!)
We look forward to immersing ourselves into Victorian life and stepping into the past.
