Year 3 – Who were the first people

As part of our next topic ‘Who were the first people?’ we want to engage the children in a day where we travel back in time to the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age on Friday 8th November 2024.

During the day, children will explore artefacts, get creative and will be immersed in many games and activities to further their understanding of what life was like for early humans. To allow children to really get into character, they are invited to come into school dressed in Stone Age or Iron Age-inspired clothing, however this is not compulsory.

Ideas of costumes could include:
– Caveman outfits
– Stone age outfits
– A long t-shirt with fur
– Animal print clothing
