TMA X Country

What a brilliant way to end the week as last Friday we took a team of 32 children over to Two Mile Ash to participate in some practice X Country races!

A massive well done to all of the children that represented Fairfields and ran their socks off on an incredibly hot afternoon. Your determination, commitment and never give up attitude ensured you all competed fantastically well and done yourselves, your families supporting and your teachers super proud.

A special mention to brothers Daniel and Lucas who picked up medals for a 1^st and 3^rd place finish in their races! Daniel with a trademark run that we have gotten used to these past few years, had a little extra in the tank for a sprint finish to take the gold medal. Lucas following in his brother’s footsteps with an outstanding effort, despite only just being in Year 3 and competing against Year 4’s, Lucas held his own at the front of the pack and more than deserved his bronze medal.

Thank you to Two Mile Ash for hosting such a great event. Another big thank you to our families and staff that never stopped cheering them on and pushing them to the end.
