Archaeological Dig

During the first week back, Juno class carried out their very own archaeological dig to link in with our topic about prehistoric Britain. We have been looking at how archaeologists piece together history through finding ancient objects buried deep underground, and everyone was eager to find a piece of history underneath our very own school field! We had lots of fun completing our mini dig and looking at everything we found once back in the warmth of the classroom.

Marley –  “Our archaeological dig was fun, fascinating and exciting! My favourite part was making notes about our findings.”

Isaac –  “Our archaeological dig was super duper fun, we found lots of stones and bugs! My favourite part was the digging.”
