Border Archaeology Visit Fairfields School

The children in Luna and Juno class enjoyed a visit from Border Archaeology on Thursday 19th April, everyone was so excited to meet some real life archaeologists! The activities they had set up on the day included mini excavations, environmental digs and pottery, they even brought a HUGE cow skeleton for the children to put back together! There were lots of artefacts for the children to examine and guess which time period they were from, including bones, pots and tools, some from thousands of years ago. We all had an amazing time and cannot thank Border Archaeology enough for the amazing effort they put in to our visit.
