Beach Day

On Tuesday 5^th June 2018, Years 1 and 2 were excited to arrive back at Fairfields Primary School only to discover that the outdoor learning area had been turned into a beach! The children began the day by preparing wraps, sandwiches and crisps to name but a few for our very own picnic! The children then had the rest of the day to explore the sea (paddling pool), rock pool, sand and play a variety of beach games. The children were also treated to a stick of rock from the seaside to take home and enjoy! Despite it being grey and cloudy a fantastic time was had by all, the children loved having the opportunity to explore the seaside within their very own school!
