Year 3 Stone Age Day

This half term Year 3 have been learning about Who were the first people. Over the last few weeks, they have stepped back in time to become Stone Age children, cavemen and hunter gathers through the Stone Age Day and our fantastic visit from Portals to the past. The Stone Age day involved dressing up, creating bone jewellery, cave painting and loom weaving. Year 3’s most recent time travel to the Stone Age included viewing and touching artefacts from the Stone age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. The children got to hold real bones of Neolithic animals, learn about human life and even held Megalodon poo! Year 3 are loving travelling back in time to discover what life was like thousands of years ago.
